Your role:
The main goal of the Carrier Management Specialist role is to assist the Carrier Manager and independently work on creating periodic carrier performance reports, conducting performance analysis, and determining corrective and preventive actions to improve performance. This role also involves measuring carrier performance against agreed targets, taking necessary actions, monitoring progress, and managing the carrier improvement plan.

Support the Carrier Manager and operate independently in areas such as: creating periodic carrier performance reports, conducting performance analysis, and defining corrective and preventive actions to improve efficiency; measuring carrier performance against agreed targets and initiating actions where necessary; monitoring and overseeing carrier performance improvement plans,Assist the Carrier Manager in the ongoing development of carrier management processes, reporting tools, and related documentation,Manage the assigned carrier onboarding and implementation process,Supervise and manage all documentation and information exchange with carriers,Coordinate daily with the carrier’s operations team, Key Account Managers (KAM), LLP operations team, as well as IT and QA departments,Conduct monthly business reviews with assigned carriers,Execute small tenders in accordance with business requirements,Conduct workshops and perform analysis with carriers to identify additional cost-saving opportunities,Research alternative transport options and benchmark existing rates to justify current selections or identify potential cost savings.Who are we looking for?
2–4 years of experience in the logistics industry, with a focus on sea, air, or road transport,Bachelor’s degree or equivalent,Proficiency in English,Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present to senior customer management teams,Knowledge of organizational structures and processes; expertise in transport, procurement, and modalities; familiarity with auditing and reporting,Self-motivated, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to remain calm and responsive in a demanding environment,Strong analytical and logical thinking skills; data manipulation capabilities are essential,Solid understanding of transport operations and procurement processes.
