Responsibilities
Ensures overall compliance of Ledcor's health, safety, and environmental standards as well as occupational health and safety regulations dailyDemonstrates ability to lead teams effectively in the day to day execution of the work by managing resources, materials, and labourReports to the Superintendent any problems or unforeseen issues that could affect the project planTrains, supports and offers ongoing guidance to all crew membersCompletes daily paperwork and involved in conducting daily toolbox talksComplete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor’s high standards for safety and qualityQualifications & Requirements
Journeyperson Carpenter with 2-3+ years’ experience in a leadership roleExperience working on major infrastructure and bridge projects highly desiredAbility to adapt information and communication style to the audienceMust pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testValid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean 3-year driver’s abstractCSTS-2020 Fundamentals, WHMIS 2015, ESC Fall Protection, Confined Space and Elevated Work Platform, Ground Disturbance L2 (training provided)Work Conditions
