Learn more at https://skilled.peopleready.com/referral/ . **Responsibilities:** + Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Daily + Full Service Remodeling Contractor, start your day at the West Hartford shop every morning at 7:00 AM and head out to the jobsite in one of the company vehicles. + The company specializes in Windows, Doors, and Deck Construction but you may also do additional renovations. + PARKING: Onsite at Shop All days start at the shop in West Hartford. + TOOLS: Hammer, Tool Belt, Pry Bar, other standard Carpenter's tools + OSHA: OSHA 10 NOT required but preferred **Qualifications:** + Current/Active ? OSHA Certification or a willingness to obtain it + Proficient in deck framing and construction, including footings, railings, and stair systems + Skilled in door and window installation, including retrofitting, weatherproofing, flashing, and trim work + Ability to remove and replace existing windows, doors, and decking materials with minimal structural impact + Familiarity with vinyl, wood, and composite materials used in exterior remodels + Comfortable using circular saws, miter saws, nail guns, and levels for accurate fitting and finish + Knowledge of fasteners and hardware specific to exterior construction (e.g., lag bolts, hangers, flashing tape) + Understanding of building codes and permitting related to decks and egress requirements + Ability to interpret blueprints, project drawings, and manufacturer instructions for installations + Experience in framing adjustments, leveling, and squaring openings for window and door replacements + Knowledge of moisture management, proper sealing, and insulation techniques to prevent air/water intrusion + Precise measuring, cutting, and fitting of components to ensure high-quality, tight installations + Attention to detail to deliver clean, professional-looking finishes + Ability to communicate with clients and coworkers clearly and respectfully + Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time efficiently across multiple job sites + Takes initiative and works well independently or as part of a team + Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation + Prior experience in the residential field required TrueBlue, Inc. and its brands welcome and encourage applications from candidates with disabilities.
