A caregiver in this position works 7:00am – 3:30pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Construct, erect, install and repair building structures, cabinetry, doors and hardware, flooring, ceilings and walls.
Maintain and repair existing structures and fixtures.
Install, maintain and repair casework, cabinets, countertops, floorings, walls, ceiling, masonry, doors and door hardware.
Perform structural remodeling, construction and demolition.
Perform regular inspections and repair of fire and smoke doors.
Work across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
A high school diploma or GED.
Three years of carpentry experience.
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints/AutoCAD and use of power tools.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Certificate of an approved carpentry apprenticeship program or trade school.
Skilled facilities technician with various experience in facilities carpentry, commercial carpentry and/or fire barrier maintenance.
