Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Carousel Tester - 2nd Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $19.15 per hour.

What you’ll do:Job Summary
Hook up and test all units on the carousel to ensure customer expections and quality tests are met.
Job Responsibilities
• Connect and perform copper loss tests on units.
• Efficiently load units onto the carousel to ensure smooth operations and promptly unload tested units and reload new ones.
• Precisely initiate test cycles and conduct various tests, including Hi-pot, Low-pot, impulse, impedance, and core loss assessments.
• Evaluate unit performance across multiple parameters with proficiency.
• Maintain a seamless workflow to minimize downtime.
• Oversee and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols to guarantee the safe deactivation and isolation of equipment, ensuring energy control procedures are correctly applied to prevent inadvertent machine startup or hazardous energy discharge during repair or maintenance, in line with OSHA regulations and organizational safety guidelines.
• Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
Education level required
• No education required. Must pass Eaton University electrical courses.
Years and area of experience required
• Casing & Crating experience preferred.
Technical knowledge
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions as required.
Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, grabbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using both hands to lift and lower materials, with or without accommodations.
