We are looking for an Application Scientist III to join our team and support the Flavors & Extracts Latin America business in Tlalnepantla, Mexico. The Application Scientist III will need to have solid experience in different food category applications (bakery, sauces, desserts, meals, beverages) and support presentations for customers alongside R&D team members and Sales Account Managers. 

What you’ll do:  

Apply new flavors and Library flavors for different food categories.Lead presentations for customers and lead company events as needed (expos, conferences, etc.)Lead his/her own projects and support projects from other R&D team members.Travel with the Technical and Sales account managers for customer presentations as needed.Upload into the system technical information and documentation requested by customersControl raw materials, smallware and keep proper inventory levels for the Showroom.Support and participate in sensory evaluations, both internal and external.

What you’ll bring: 

5+years of new products development, pilot plant escalation and food production processes.Bachelor´s Degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food ChemistCreativity and innovative mindset.Use of basic laboratory and kitchen equipment.Knowledge on food additives, their application and functionality. Fluid conversational and written English.Result driven and quick learning skills.
