As a risk management generalist at PwC, you will provide advisory and practical support to teams across a wide range of specialist risk and compliance areas.

Join our Financial Risk Management (FRM) team and become part of the leading Swiss company in advisory and audit services for banks and insurance companies of all sizes and regulatory categories. We develop, implement, and validate models for credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and counterparty credit risk, ensuring compliance and strategic value. We seek fresh graduates and professionals with some years of experience (1-3 years) in financial risk management to strengthen our young, international team.

Your Impact

Help clients develop, enhance, and review financial risk models using cutting-edge technology to manage risk, assess market opportunities, and create business benefits.Assess client frameworks for model development and risk management across various risk topics, including credit, market, and trading risk.Support banks of various categories to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (Basel Framework, FINMA, and other regulatory frameworks).Analyze data, identify risk factors, build prototypes, interpret results, and support clients in implementing recommendations to add business value.Identify applications of machine learning techniques in financial risk management to enhance predictive accuracy and efficiency.Navigate and implement complex regulatory requirements for emerging topics like cryptocurrency and digital assets.Communicate complex quantitative and analytics concepts clearly and concisely to key client stakeholders.Connect sophisticated modelling techniques with strategic decision-making processes in a highly international and fast-paced environment.Work on projects and exchange experiences with colleagues, continuously building methodological knowledge and strategic consultancy skills.Enjoy solving challenging problems and contributing to innovative solutions in financial risk management.

Your Skill Set

As a career starter, you hold or are nearing completion of an advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, economics or in finance.Relevant experience (1-3 years) in quantitative risk analysis/modelling or from working in a consulting firm or internal strategy department to solve real-world problems, is a plus.Experience in credit risk monitoring, credit risk control or familiarty with capital requirements for credit risk, is a plusPossess meticulous work habits and a keen eye for detail.Bring innovative solutions and fresh perspectives to a fast-paced environment, contributing to the successful execution of projects.Proficient in programming languages for data analysis and quantitative modeling.Possess exceptional skills in translating technical knowledge into insights that are easily digestible for leadership and non-technical project teams, both verbally and in writing.Excel as a team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively.Fluent in English and either French or German, capable of effectively communicating in a diverse team.
