Our Ready Mix division is looking for a Loader Operator. The selected candidate must be able to work safely by operating heavy equipment.

 

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00AM to 5:00PM. (Hours could slightly vary depending on demand). 

 

Plant Locations: 952 Moodie Drive

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates a loader at our Ready Mix Plant in and around the yard Inspection of plant everyday Performs daily safety and maintenance checks Moving 50 pounds cement blocks Shoveling under the plant and keeping the yard clean Clean equipment as scheduled and/or required Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored Participate in routine maintenance

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

2 + years’ of experience in the operation of heavy equipment Mechanically inclined is an asset  Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures including but not limited to backing up procedures, use of flagmen and spotters, signage, incident reporting, required personal safety equipment and lifting of heavy loads. Knowledge of equipment operation, cleaning and maintenance requirements Analytical and problem solving skills Effective communication skills (both listening and verbal)
