Assistant Manager, Commercial Underwriting: 20-month contract

 

Here is what a typical day looks like

Provide guidance and coaching to your team, identifying a succession plan Define and communicate underwriting requirements, implement workflows and processes Consult with insurance companies, oversee authorization required for Insurance Division Liaise with insurance companies, actuaries, and surveyors for risk assessment and product development Continuing self-development through industry and community involvement, training and other courses

 

The value you bring

General Insurance Level 3 License required (within 3 months of being hired) 5 years’ experience with Personal/Commercial Line policies Supervisory experience leading teams, preferably in insurance Involvement in industry related associations and your community Professional communication etiquette, both written and verbal Well versed in navigating multiple computer programs at once

 

 

Hours: 37.5 hours/week – term of 20 months

Location: Remote in Canada    

Salary range: $75,000 - $105,000
