You will work with the families to build relationships-in the family unit and within the community-that increase their resources and provide linkages to services. What Will You Do: + Provide concrete support to families that are receiving services + Identify gaps and barriers to services and advocating for families + Provide on-going assessments of families by engaging and partnering with the parents throughout the course of program participation + Refer families to services in a timely manner, prioritizing those based on severity of needs + Ensure the successful linkages to community resources by providing transportation + Develop and maintain relationships with a diverse array of community partners + Collaborate with the team of practitioners and supervisors to identify immediate service needs and resources for families + Participate in advisory councils/boards within their local community/area of service to gather beneficial information to assist in supporting families What We Need to See: + Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or equivalent experience within the child welfare system + 1+ years of experience in parent/family support, maternal-child health + Valid driver's license and must be insurable under the agency's automobile insurance policy.
