Many of the individuals we serve are from southeast Pennsylvania, but DCBHC has served children and adolescents from other regions of Pennsylvania as well as neighboring states. **Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS)** center serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. \#Sponsored **Qualifications** **EDUCATION:** Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related discipline required. **EXPERIENCE:** Six months experience in Social Service preferred. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires abilityto work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines. Valid driver's license must be maintained **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques – up-wards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision. Significant amount of use of computers and office equipment. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches (S&PA) techniques.
