Schedule: Full-time, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with on-call coverage approximately 10 days per month, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our Invasive Cardiology team. In this role, you will assist cardiologists in performing various invasive procedures, including right heart monitoring, myoendocardial biopsies, left heart catheterizations, and interventional procedures. Your expertise and commitment to patient care will be essential in ensuring the success of our department.
Key Responsibilities:
Continuing Education: Maintain department competencies by fulfilling continuing education requirements. Communication: Effectively communicate with all members of the healthcare team. Patient Transport: Assist in transporting patients to and from the Cath Lab to ensure timely operations. Procedure Preparation: Prepare trays and rooms for procedures. Data Entry: Enter patient information into the Cath Lab computer system, monitor patients throughout procedures, and document all aspects in the hemodynamic system. Research Support: Gather information for research patients. Orientation: Aid in the orientation of new and visiting personnel, including nursing students, medical students, EMTs, and paramedics. Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures. Equipment Operation: Operate equipment appropriate for procedures, including fluoroscopy equipment, film processors, filmless systems, defibrillators, monitoring equipment, and interventional devices. Knowledge Application: Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Documentation: Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Procedure Assistance: Assist cardiologists in performing all aspects of invasive procedures. Vital Communication: Communicate vital patient information to physicians, such as blood pressure and heart rhythms. Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and provide instructions.
