Cardiovascular Tech,Cath LabDepartment Job Type:full-time,DayShift Aids physicians in finding and caring for illnesses or injuries involving the heart or the blood vessels. Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following: * Performsplanof care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. * Documents patient care given. * Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition asappropriate tocareteam, physician, patient, and family. * Assistspatients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. * Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge,referraland spiritual/psychosocial support needs. * Evaluates learning needs ofpatientand/orfamilyand provides patient/family educationappropriate toage, culture, condition, and circumstances. * Works as an advocateforthe physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
