Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist is responsible for assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This role involves the safe operation of specialized equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining sterile techniques throughout procedures. The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist provides direct patient care, monitors patient status, and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver optimal cardiovascular services.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
0-2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or similar cardiovascular setting requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Extensive knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and cardiovascular procedures. Proficient in using specialized cardiovascular equipment and maintaining a sterile field. Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills, with the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient status. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment and respond quickly to emergency situations.Licenses and Certifications
RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist required BCLS - Basic Life Support required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support obtained by the end of the month after 90 days of employment required
