The Registered Ultrasonographer is responsible for the performance, measurement and calculation of ultrasound studies. Completes a concise summary of the findings for use by the interpreting cardiologist. Prioritizes studies to ensure timeliness of patient care. Maintains working knowledge of all systems and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Pre Procedural PrepAccurately enters dataPerforms echocardiography to include M-mode, 2-D, Doppler as indicatedAssists MD and other staff with TEES, Stress echo, Pharmacology studiesObtains proper views as indicatedUtilizes settings/techniques to enhance image clarity for optimal MD reviewPost Procedural Charting and documentationWhat you will need:
2-3 years of hospital or office based ultrasonographerAssociates Degree required, BA PreferredCurrent ARDMS registrationAbility to lift 20 lbs.Pay Range: $36.00 – $52.45
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
