Position overview:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Car Line Leader to coordinate all activities related to assigned projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones, and serving as the primary point of contact between the plant, Lead Unit, and Customer.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

Be the first plant representative in front of Lead Unit and Customer. Define the project timing, key dates and ensure the respect. Participate in different conference call with Lead unit teams and Customers. Animate internal meeting to follow the project timing. Ensure the accuracy of all the technical data. Propose design improvements and cost savings during manufacturing. Be responsible for the planning and delivery of parts in the prototype level or Line Trials. Define the needed resources, equipment for each project. Define the manufacturing process flow chart and ensure a robust process. Prepare and manage the investment for each project phases. Follow and manage the engineering change requested by Customer. Ensure a successful startup of new programs and MYC. Follow the production performance and participate in the objective’s attainment. Participate in different audit: external and internal. Participate effectively in plant performance realization. Support CI projects.

 

 

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Engineering Department, including at least 1 year as a Car Leader or General Supervisor. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Solid understanding of quality control systems and Lean Manufacturing tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
