This is an ideal role for someone who loves financial analysis, has a curious mind for alternative risk solutions, and wants to help design strategies that genuinely make an impact.
What You’ll Do
As part of a collaborative client service team, you’ll:
Analyze risk tolerance, build financial models, and handle premium allocation, cash flow oversight, and tax calculations for captive insurance programs.Support underwriting, policy wording, reinsurance agreements, and compliance documentation.Contribute to RFPs, feasibility studies, and new client proposals. Stay on top of trends in captive insurance and help develop innovative solutions for HUB clients.Work closely with auditors, actuaries, asset managers, and other partners.Lead or support client training sessions, write thought leadership pieces, and champion best practices in alternative risk transfer.What You’ll Need for Success
Post-secondary education (finance, risk management, or accounting preferred)3+ years in complex commercial insurance, risk management, or a related financial fieldRIBO license (or willing to obtain within 6 months)Advanced Excel and solid MS Office skillsExperience with RFPs and analytics modelingStrong communicator and presenter — you’re comfortable explaining complex ideas clearlyA proactive, solutions-focused mindset with top-notch client service skillsAbility to travel within Canada (approx. 20%)Elevate Your Career with HUB International
