Role Title:CAPP Engineer

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Provide manufacturing engineering solutions in the areas of Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP) by preparing/Compiling manufacturing process data, creating manufacturing process Router including Bill of process (BoP),Bill of works (BoW) , support release of CAPP process in TC, Create Change Control ( CC) object to bridge CAPP process with SAP and MES

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

Compile inputs as per manufacturing process Router for both regular and Rework processesCreate CAPP Folder Structure to Prepare TC Data (BoP)Identify and Create Documents as TC files for the Source of data received from R-R local Databases- DiMS (TI's- PA, SOP, Drawings, TV's), Coglas (Fixture & NC Setlist), EDM (NC Prog MAN /INT), OVIS (Transport / Packaging), and Prod. Permit, Waiver, FPA, FPD, FAIR, DAR'sShare part specific Global Specifications list to ME Systems for Fly sheet data creationCreate EDNS Number for Local Specifications in Teamcenter. E.g. PA, SOP, AEA, EBA, ZEE etc.Create (Part Specific) TCH No's for Process Item and OP's ItemsCreate/Clone TCH Items for Process and Operations, Revise to populate the required detailsUpdate MEOP Revision Master (German), R-R SAP Additional Info and R-R Std Time model formsDefine Activity as per task Breakdown (Provided with Comm sheet , Mark-up sheet, Red line info)Define Activity Pert Chart , Process Pert ChartAssign Product and Plant to TCH Process Item & Work centers to TCH Operations ItemsGenerate the WIP CAPP reports (TI's),Initiate Process/Op's (TCH's) through PR & CNCreate CC object to bridge CAPP process with SAP and MES

 

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS 

Good knowledge on all Aerospace manufacturing processes, Production and MES Fully conversant reading engineering Drawings, manufacturing drawings, specifications and standards. Sound Knowledge of TC, MPP, SAP and MES
