Capital Planning Life Cycle Engineer–

What this job involves:

Responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of facilities and equipment database management for commercial facilities at JLL. This role ensures accurate data maintenance within the VFA database system, supports capital planning processes, and provides critical facility information to management teams. This position contributes to JLL's business objectives by enhancing facility data integrity, supporting informed decision-making, and ensuring efficient facility operations across multiple sites.

Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update data within the VFA database, ensuring information is current as facility projects are completedDevelop and manage the information gathering process across multiple sitesCreate and oversee the schedule for facility assessments across sitesManage security access and permissions for the database systemGenerate routine and ad-hoc reports based on VFA data analysisParticipate in annual planning, one-year rolling plans, and five-year capital planning processesInterface with engineering teams and facility managers across various locationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction ManagementMinimum 3 years of relevant experienceProficiency in project management with ability to handle multiple projects and competing prioritiesWorking knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, compressed air, central plant and electrical distribution systemsExperience with documentation systems and databasesStrong analytical skills with superior written and oral communication abilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills for interacting with high-level internal and external clientsPreferred QualificationsExperience in pharmaceutical/life sciences industryPrior facility and/or construction management experienceAdvanced knowledge of building systems (HVAC, Electrical, etc.)Experience with process improvement and efficiency initiativesPresentation skills for delivering information to management teamsExperience with capital planning processesDemonstrated ability to recommend and implement improvements to existing processes

Estimated total compensation for this position:

120,000.00 – 135,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
