Job Description:

At Regions, the Capital Markets Debt Operations group comprises of Syndicated Loan Agency Services, Syndicated Loan Services, RSL Operations, RECM Operations, and Loan Trading Operations. These teams provide operational and risk management support the $11B Regions-led syndication portfolio, syndicated participation bought portfolio,  FNMA, Freddie Mac, HUD, and loan trading portfolios.

Primary Responsibilities

Assists with deal closing and loan servicing support for the bank’s portfolio of syndicated/participated bank facilities, where Regions is Administrative AgentLeads direct communication with borrowers, participant banks, LC Issuers, and other external stakeholdersDrives the closing process in support of the underwriter, capital markets and the syndicate bank group, including the review of credit approvals, legal documentation, due diligence, & funding & booking mechanicsReviews legal documents to ensure documentation complies with Bank policy & procedure and accurately reflects the intentions of the credit approvalProvides review and approvals for all loan and payment activity by thoroughly understanding the credit agreement and related provisionsEnsures daily funding and payment activity to account for all daily cash transactions are completed timely and accurate by the teamIdentifies risk with past due principal, interest, and fees an escalate to management and across relevant business channelsCommunicates with internal/external agents regarding issues around these specialized facilitiesProvides SME assistance to team in respect to loan related issues which may include missing payments, margin changes and/or unprocessed draw requests or conversionsMinimizes operational risks and losses and ensuring compliance with all bank policies and proceduresReads and interprets complex legal credit agreements and related documentation working with credit, legal, originationReconciles control reports and engaging with leadership daily on Key Risk IndicatorsSupports co-workers, work with various special projects or other tasks as assignedRecommends latest methods to improve departmental procedures

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay. 

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

Bachelors degree and six (6) years of related syndicated loan work experience, particularly in an Admin Agent roleOr an Associate's degree and eight (8) years of related syndicated loan work experience, particularly in an Admin Agent roleApplicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position

Skills and Competencies

Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a high-pressure environmentAbility to work in a deadline-oriented environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, SharePoint)Extremely detail oriented with a proven track record of accuracyKnowledge of Bank systems used to manage the Syndicated lending business: ACBS, AFS Level III, Clearpar, Syndtrak, Notice ManagerOrganizational and time management skillsUnderstanding of operational and payment risk

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Median:

$108,000.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
