How you will make an impact

As a CAPEX project leader you will contribute in projects following the Arla Foods stage gate model from Exploration to Hand-over, including preparation and participation in gate approval with the Senior Leadership team. Your responsibilities will also include:

 

Deliver projects successfully in terms of safety, quality, efficiency, delivery, sustainability & cost Fulfill plans covering scope, milestones, cost, resource, risks and mitigation Close collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure alignment in a matrix organization Work with our Procurement department during supplier selection and tendering Foster a collaborative environment Monitor cash flow and manage change orders through the change request process Communicate and present projects for steerco, project team and key stakeholders Coordinate the project with several site functions; Operations, Maintenance, QEHS & Logistics

 

What will make you successful

Preferably you hold an engineering degree in a related field. Additionally, you could have:

 

Excellent communication- and social skills The ability to drive collaboration effectively at many different levels in the organization A proactive mindset and thrive in being decisive Able to drive change through informal leadership and trust building Speak and write fluent English at a technical level.

 

As this position is an entry level position, we will ensure support and an environment where you can develop your skills as a project manager to the next level.

 

Should you have a few years of experience already, we shall be looking for candidates with experience in:

 

Project management, ideally from the food or FMCG industry The ability to manage CAPEX projects involving new technology or processes

 

What do we offer?

You will join a passionate team with colleagues and stakeholders locally and globally within Arla. Given the nature of the role, expect significant travel (approximately 50%), with travel requirements varying based on project location. You will be expected to spend significant time at the sites where you drive the projects to closely collaborate with the local organization as part of the job.
