Capacity Planner- On Site
The Capacity Planner is responsible for implementing the planning strategies within operations. The holder of his position will oversee the review and capture of the planning processes and procedures in line with the company quality system. A key task is to oversee the facilitation of new product introductions to fully integrating the product into operations, ensuring on time to marketplace and without shortages. Other activities include line production scheduling involving capacity and material constraints analysis with the goal of providing optimal delivery reliability to customers.

Grow with us- Your Responsibilities & Tasks:

Perform capacity analysis and lead S&OP/ERFA meetings to negotiate plant loading and advise management of resource needs to support the volumes being requested.Ensure update of plant available capacity in production schedule to perform accurate loading of production lines. Oversee the material supply situation in the mid-term planning horizon and work with purchasing team to proactively reschedule production orders based on material availability.Manage New Product introductions including material reservations, production order creation and SCM master data creation.Monitor production output versus plan and delivering time-critical components to execute on master schedule as well as respond to unanticipated changes in production schedule.Work with purchasing team to establish the appropriate monitoring of deliveries and vs schedule and coordinate priorities with Buyers as needed.Maintain accurate open Work Order lines to define target build quantities, identify system demand or BOM issues, and help ensure inventory accuracy.Support maintenance of MRP master data parameters to ensure accurate signals for quantity and dates generated by MRP (i.e. production lead times, lot sizing, and safety stock) to minimize excess.Monitor KPIs for assigned areas of production in order to track materials and prevent excess inventory.Collaborate with Purchasing and Engineering to coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to plan for material and product end of life (EoL) and minimize obsolescence.Identify potential production risks to align processes with production plan milestones.Assist in implementing systematic solutions to control inventory flow, minimize shortages, and maintain inventory accuracy.Provide ongoing transparency of inventory levels and ensure continuous inventory accuracy.Work fluidly in a highly cross-functional team environment involving manufacturing and product development teams, as well as material planners, manufacturing engineers, and material handling personnel.Assist with inventory control activities as required.Generate analysis reports that support KPIs improvements.

What will convince us- Qualification & Skills:

4+ years of directly related experience in one or more of the following fields: Supply Chain, Logistics, Buying, Material Procurement, or ManufacturingProficiency in SAP or ERP systems, Word, Excel , Powerpoint, applicationsPower BI or Tableau proficiency is preferredExperience in project management, multitasking and extremely detail orientedStrong ability to interact with buyers and internal customers via various communication methods such as phone, email, etc.Strong sense of urgency, attention to detailGood communication and follow-up skills with a strong customer service attitudeAbility to self-direct and take constructive action in ambiguous situations.Able to influence others & manage conflictExtremely high standards of excellenceAnalytical with a methodical approach to problem solvingExperience establishing and employing demand-pull material planning methodsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to change
