You will closely partner daily with other teams including Test Operations, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Product Operations, and Hardware Engineering. **Your Impact** As a key member of the Capacity Planning team in **Silicon Manufacturing Operations** , you will champion key capacity planning processes and influence decisions across the supply chain. + **Rough-cut Capacity Planning** : Develop and maintain quarterly rough-cut capacity plans (RCCP) for silicon and OSAT supply networks using best-practice planning methods and tools. Evaluate feasibility of monthly capacity plans based on updated demand, supply, and hardware inputs. Recommend data-driven strategies to align RCCP with sourcing strategy, product roadmaps, and supply plans. + **Scenario Planning and Risk Mitigation** : Monitor capacity utilization trends to identify emerging bottlenecks proactively. Model and assess the impact of demand shifts, build plan changes, and supply variability. Develop and present contingency strategies to optimize capacity coverage and minimize risks to key programs and schedules. + **Supplier Forecasting** : Publish monthly forecasts to foundry and OSAT partners and manage their responses. Reconcile supplier capacity positions with internal forecasts and highlight gaps or risks. Clearly communicate planning rationale to suppliers to set shared expectations and reduce friction during constraint or ramp scenarios. + **Supplier Relationship Management.** Foster strong, trust-based relationships with foundry and OSAT partners through regular engagement on capacity outlooks and planning assumptions. Represent the organization professionally, reinforcing transparency, accountability, and long-term partnership. Support supplier business reviews by preparing supplier-specific content on forecast and performance trends. Identify and bring up risks in supplier responsiveness or communication gaps that may impact supply continuity. + **Team Collaboration** : Collaborate with test operations, hardware planning, supply planning, and product operations to validate efficiency assumptions and update planning parameters. Collaborate with sourcing and product development teams to ensure commercial and operational conversations are well-coordinated and grounded in accurate capacity data. Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) forums by delivering accurate, well-aligned capacity perspectives that advise scenario evaluation and decision-making. + **Process Leadership** : Play a key role in crafting and institutionalizing core capacity planning processes. Partner with business operations and planning leadership to define planning rhythms, decision cadences, and data flows that enable scalable and reliable supply decisions. Support the maturation of RCCP, scenario management, and supplier forecasting practices through documentation and team engagement. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco’s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows: .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
