Holder of a current Security Officer/Crowd Control licence for the relevant state.Holder of a current First Aid Certificate (where required) for the relevant state.Other qualifications or accreditations as designated.
Any person holding this position is required to perform duties at client sites as designated by the site orders. There may be other instructions to be followed which will be passed on to security officers by the client, Client Delivery Managers or State Managers. The main duty of officers is to protect people, property and equipment from injury damage or theft.
Complete day-to-day tasks effectively dependant on site and client requirements, can include:
Protection of persons, property and equipment from theft of damage,Completion of site patrols, Mobile Vehicle PatrolsControl of access and egress to and from sites, both vehicular and pedestrianIssuing and management of keys and access cards, checking of goods removed from sitesControl of incoming goods, Assistance in emergency situations, Attendance to first aid incidentsResponse to alarms or distress calls, Control of contractorsMonitoring of alarms and CCTV systems, Submission of reportsHazard identification, Bag searches, Screening of persons, Escorts of persons, Crowd Control, Ticket checkingComply with company policies, procedures and legal requirements and ensure compliance by others.Ensure all Operations Management procedures are followed. Be diligent and comprehensive with compliance.
