**28239BR** **Job Title:** Campus Safety and EADA Survey Telephone Follow-Up (hourly) **Location:** MD - Rockville **Job Description:** Westat is seeking qualified candidates to make outgoing telephone calls to postsecondary institutions on an upcoming project for our Education Studies group. **Job Responsibilities:** + Contact postsecondary institutions that have not responded to the survey in order to encourage their participation. + Assist postsecondary institutions in identifying the correct employee to complete the survey. + Provide basic assistance with the online survey and guide participants through the right procedures. + Document all phone conversation with postsecondary institutions using the internal survey management system. + Independently manage a large volume of case assignments. **Basic Qualifications:** + Experience making outgoing phone calls. + Ability to quickly establish rapport with survey respondents. + Ability to think quickly and answer questions as appropriate. + Experience summarizing a conversation in writing using accurate spelling and grammar. **Preferred Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED. + At least one year prior experience in the Campus Safety and EADA Telephone Follow-up position. + Experience with a survey management system. + Previous eQIP clearance. + Ability to speak Spanish, but not required. + Demonstrated attention to detail. + Professional courtesy and proper telephone etiquette. + Comfort with computers. **Minimum Qualifications:** Work is Monday through Friday, with 40 hours per week preferred and a minimum of 32 hours per week. After hiring, candidates must apply for and obtain background clearance for the U.S. Department of Education - Westat will provide instructions, forms, and support to help the candidate with this process. **_These assignments are temporary hourly positions.
