American Express, global leader in payment services, is looking for a university or master student in Economics, to support the Global Commercial Services, Global Client Group team based in Milan – Italy.
Key Project:
The ideal candidate will support the Global Commercial Sales function in Italy, specifically the Global Clients development structure, and will manage specific commercial and process projects by
Interacting with other corporate functions (eg. Global Merchant & Network Services, Controllership) and being tasked to monitor and optimize the Supplier Payment processes of American Express Italia and the other Group companies Supporting the NPS (Net Promoter Score) satisfaction analysis management process for the B2B clients, from the preparatory phase to the implementation of ad hoc contents and strategies to optimize response rates that influence the results Assisting the structure in the daily client management activities, producing internal and external reporting and liaising with the operations units
The intern will gain experience in the following areas:
Project management skills with ability to interact following the standard dynamics within a sales management and process management structure in a multinational company Typical competences for a Client Development Manager in a B2B / Services environment: Customer Relationship Management, Client Management, account review, commercial presentation, negotiation, competitive pricing design focusing on Challenger Sales methodology, compliance requirements in a regulated marketplace, cross & upselling in a modern and complex organization, and the required knowledge of the main American Express Global Commercial Services' products and services (including but not limited to Corporate Card, BTA, vPayment, BIP, Purchasing Account)
Skill & experiences required:
Current graduate students in Economics are encouraged to apply Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills; You’re able to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet and proactively solve problems Good communication and relational skills; Self-starting, innovative thinker who can provide team with suggestions and recommendations for process improvement; Fluency in both English & Italian Proficient knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Power Point)
