We now have a permanent full-time role in our Field Production Unit in our Sydney office (Pyrmont). **Enough about us! What youll do as a Camera Operator:** This is role is responsible for capturing vision and news gathering for our Network News bulletins and other productions as required. **Functions will include:** + Daily camera operations for Network 10 programs including 10 News, ad hoc sport broadcasts and News specials. + Some editing for News and News specials if required + Travel including domestic and international. + Live cross and live streaming operations **What are we looking for in a Camera Operator? Whats important?** + 1-2 years experience shooting news and production + Some experience in basic broadcast editing + Knowledge of modern news gathering + Excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines + Motivated self-starter with a flexible approach to work patterns and duties + Must be able to work both weekdays and weekends as part of a roster cycle + Flexible to adapt to an agile environment following the daily news cycle + An understanding of audio, radio microphones and IFB + Proficiency in bonded cellular transmission including Dejero and Live U + Full drivers license Paramountembraces differences and we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds regardless of factors such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property or birth.
