Report to the Tool Shop Manager, the CAM CNC Supervisor main goals are to ensure tooling fabrication and maintenance performance to support plant’s New Product Introduction and production volume delivery objectives through the good performance of the CAM/CNC/EDM/CMM/Material preparation Team; monitor team KPIs and take action when they don’t meet standard; train and prepare team; manage teams hand tools conditions and good use, requesting new ones when necessary; manage material preparation, raw material inventory and semi-finished replenishment.
You will be working closely with several departments including Maintenance, Sourcing, machine installation, tool & material acquisition and many other initiatives.

The CAM CNC Supervisor leads the CAM, CNC, CMM teams to ensure efficient, high-quality, and timely production of tooling components. This role is responsible for team development, process optimization, and compliance with company and industry standards. Responsible for training and support evaluation of work force Manage CAM/CNC/Material area KPIs such as efficiency, quality rate, and new tooling output Manage CAM/CNC/CMM technicians hand tools conditions and replenishment Manage raw material consumption and replenishment Manage material preparation area, semi-finished inventory and replenishment Perform new tooling and Repair of cavities when necessary, including cavity remaking when applicable Comply with the local and group policies, contribute to the internal and external audits Comply with the ISO certifications and other group systemsKey Responsibilities:
Daily Operations & Team Leadership
Lead and supervise CAM, CNC, CMM teams. Plan and allocate tasks to meet production schedules and priorities (e.g., N1-2026, COPY Molds, N2-2026). Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for technicians and operators. Ensure team compliance with safety, ISO certifications, and company policies.Technical & Process Oversight
Monitor and improve KPIs such as efficiency, quality rate, and new tooling output. Manage hand tools and ensure proper condition and replenishment. Oversee raw material consumption, semi-finished inventory, and replenishment. Perform cavity repairs and remakes when necessary. Support internal and external audits.Quality & Optimization
Ensure all outputs meet required specifications and quality standards. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and enhance quality. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance to resolve problems efficiently.Qualifications:
Must-Have:
Professional training in industrial mechanics and/or tooling technology. 3–5 years of experience in CAM/CNC/EDM/CMM/Material Preparation within a Tool Shop environment. Demonstrated technical expertise and analytical skills. Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or tooling environment. Strong hands-on experience with lathe turning, grinding, drilling, and other machining operations. Experience with metal forging tools and/or injection molds for high-aesthetic products. Intermediate level of spoken English and strong interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies is a plus.Excellent time management and organizational skills.
