Description
We are looking for Call Center Agents to join our team on a temporary basis in Tacoma, WA. In this role, you will primarily handle high volumes of inbound calls, providing assistance and information to patients and medical staff. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, Sunday-Thursday, or Thursday-Tuesday
***This role requires at least one weekend shift***
Shift Times: 6:00am-2:30pm OR 2:00pm-10:30pm
Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound calls from patients and other callers for multiple medical centers.
• Provide information on visiting hours, patient locations, scheduling, and patient access.
• Transfer calls internally to appropriate departments or staff members.
• Assist with paging providers and triaging calls based on urgency.
• Utilize basic organizational knowledge to address patient demographic inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive medical records and information.
• Maintain accuracy and professionalism while handling high call volumes.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver exceptional service.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support call center operations.
• Handle weekend shifts as part of the scheduled work rotation.
Requirements
• Proficiency in using customer service software and call center tools.
• Demonstrated experience in answering inbound calls and assisting customers.
• Familiarity with medical records systems, including EPIC EMR.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy regulations.
• Ability to manage inquiries in a high-volume call center environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Previous experience in administrative assistance or related roles.
