We have an immediate need for a Calibration Technician at our aerospace location in York, NE. The primary focus of this role is calibrating and repairing test equipment to ensure the accuracy of measurement tools used in aerospace manufacturing & testing. 

 

 

Duties & responsibilities include: 

Calibrating and repairing test equipment by verifying the accuracy of instruments and making necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure they function correctly. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues by Identifying the root cause of problems with test equipment and taking steps to resolve them. Maintaining calibration records by keeping accurate records of calibrations performed, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations. Monitoring and maintaining inventory of calibration equipment, ordering replacements as needed. Work with other technicians and staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. 

Work Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:

AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant experienceKnowledge of electrical troubleshooting, mechanical principles, and experience with various test equipment. Ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues using hand and power tools. Understanding of calibration procedures and standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration. Ability to maintain accurate records and organize work efficiently.Must be able to calibrate the tools listed below.Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen

 

 

Hourly Salary Range: $26.00 - $30.00 DOE
