**Calibration Technician 3**
Execute and maintain the Metrology program for the installed equipment in the manufacturing and support areas
**Your role:**
+ **Calibration Execution & Support** : Executes monthly and unscheduled calibrations (courtesy, verification, relocation, obsolete/damaged equipment), and supports calibration tasks for NPI, validations, CAPAs, and NCRs.
+ **Documentation & System Management** : Reviews and approves calibration and maintenance work orders, maintains equipment status in the system, creates and assesses EE (OOT) as needed, and maintains calibration procedures/specifications.
+ **Change & Process Management** : Collaborates on and approves changes in the PLM system related to equipment specs and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the lab.
+ **Audit & Team Support** : Provides support during internal/external audits and offers guidance and onboarding for new team members.
+ **Optimization & Cost Efficiency** : Implements cost-saving projects and develops tools and guides to enhance the efficiency of calibration activities.
**You're the right fit if:**
+ High school diploma required; certification in Metrology is mandatory. A 50% completed Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
+ 5+ years of experience as a Calibration Technician in the medical device industry, with knowledge in process validation considered a plus.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Intermediate English writing skills required; overall intermediate English and ability to attend customer visits in English are desirable.
+ Skilled in troubleshooting and applying problem-solving tools to support calibration and technical tasks.
**How we work together**
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
**Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.**
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
**This role is an onsite role. Shift A: Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 3:36 pm.**
