We focus on providing calibration services to Manufacturing operations, Engineering and R&D. Calibration technicians are directly involved in the calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation used in the production process. **_Come for a job, stay for a career!_** **A Day in The Life Of:** + To carry out and document Equipment calibrations as per relevant procedures. + Maintain the calibration system database. + Liaise with the appropriate vendors to ensure external calibrations are completed correctly and in a timely manner (including Reference Standards). + Maintenance and archiving of calibration files. + Review and update of relevant documentation as required. + Completion of appropriate reports. + Contribute to continuous improvement projects in the calibration group. + Suggest relevant changes to procedures and update to standard operating procedures as necessary. **Key Skills & Experience** + Requires a minimum NFQ **Level 6** Certificate or Diploma in Science or Engineering/Technology. + Computer literacy in the use of Excel/Word software to generate spreadsheets and reports. + Experience working with equipment would be advantageous. + Think critically and make sound decisions. + Focused on patient and customer and set high standards, instill operational excellence, and drive accountability. + Excellent written, documentation, and oral communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and spoken. + Full training will be provided. + **Calibration/Metrology department have two roles to fill.** **Medtronic offer a competitive salary and flexible Benefits Package** \#IJ **Physical Job Requirements** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  **Benefits & Compensation** **Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package** A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
