This position is 100% onsite at our Bohemia, NY location.
This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a Department of State or Department of Commerce License.
Position Summary:PDC, an AS9100-registered electronics manufacturer, is seeking a part-time Calibration Coordinator to support our quality system by managing calibration activities. This temporary role (20 hours/week) ensures compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements through effective coordination and record-keeping. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, solve problems proactively, and push through obstacles without constant direction. Calibration activities will be tracked using GagePack .
Key Position Accountabilities:Schedule and track calibration of all measurement and test equipment using GagePack.
Maintain calibration records and ensure timely updates.
Coordinate with external calibration service providers.
Monitor due dates and issue reminders to equipment owners.
Support audits by preparing calibration documentation.
Assist with nonconforming equipment identification and follow-up.
Work through routine challenges with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Experience in calibration or quality systems in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with GagePack or similar calibration software
Knowledge of AS9100 and basic metrology principles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Schedule:
20 hours per week; flexible within standard business hours
