About the RoleAs a vital member of our team, you will:
Perform daily upkeep and minor repairs to cage wash equipment and animal-related gear, reporting any malfunctions to supervisors. Maintain an exceptional standard of cleanliness—sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and sanitizing, along with safe disposal of hazardous waste. Ensure accurate recordkeeping in logbooks and checklists as required. Manage key inventories: chemicals, indicators, supplies for washing/sterilizing, feed, bedding, and cage wash materials. Who We’re Looking For High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 months of relevant experience (research cage wash, animal care, production/maintenance, or animal husbandry/cleaning). Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Quick and accurate decision-making in fast-paced environments. Adaptable, efficient, and focused on minimizing disruptions to productivity. Clear, respectful communicator and enthusiastic team player.
