The Cage & Credit Shift Manager is accountable for the operation of the cage and credit team on a shift basis. Supervises all cage, vault/ bank, credit and guest service functions and personnel in the performance of their duties to ensure that all guests have an enjoyable gaming experience.
ResponsibilitiesWhere You'll Make an Impact:
Responsible for supervising the Guest services personnel on assigned shift to ensure accurate control over casino funds.Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.Manages processes and procedures to control and reduce loss time injuries.Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment.Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.Development of staff to include training interviewing for hires, performance management to include disciplinary counseling up to and including termination and conducting performance evaluation.Maintain records and reports relating to Variances, deposits & credit Activity and process and/or approve customer applications for casino credit.Oversees credit processing, in accordance with IC §609a.3.Approves and extends credit limits as set forth in the internal controls, in accordance with IC §609a.3 and §609a.4.Obtain second approval from the General Manager, Director of Finance or Cage and Credit Manager for all casino credit applications in accordance with IC §609a.4.Manages department financial data.Review cage shift activities with Cage & Credit Manager.Meet with departmental Directors and Managers as necessary.Ability to extend complementaries in accordance with the property comp matrix.Skills to Help You Succeed:
Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.Ability to read complex documents and understand state and local tax laws, banking codes, gaming laws and regulations.Ability to solve complex problems.Ability to distinguish between colors.Flexible work schedule. QualificationsMust-Haves:
Four (4) year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field OREquivalent work experience in casino cage operations in a casino environment that includes Slot /slot machines and Table GamesMust be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.Physical Requirements:
Must present self in a well-groomed, friendly, and professional manner.Must be able to:Stoop, bend, and squatWork in a location with loud noise, visual distractions, and temperature changes.Standing 100%Walking 50%Bending/Lifting (up to 75 lbs.)Pulling/Pushing (up to 75 lbs. with help)Use of stairs and elevators What We OfferPerks We Offer You
