What do you contribute?

As a CAE System Specialist, you will take ownership of our Zuken E3.series environment, the core tool used by our engineering teams to create electrical schematics for our innovative locomotives. After a comprehensive onboarding phase, you will play a key role in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of Zuken E3 usage across our electrical engineering department.

Supporting and maintaining the Zuken E3.series system and ensuring its availability for users. Collaborating with engineering teams to implement enhancements and respond to user requests. Identifying and executing process improvements while assessing potential risks and defining mitigation strategies. Participating in the rollout of new tool versions and patches, including testing and deployment of new features. Acting as a liaison between engineering, IT, and the software vendor (Zuken). Customizing the application (e.g., reports, evaluations, interface extensions).

What do you bring along?

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (e.g., certified technician with relevant experience). Several years of experience supporting CAE systems (e.g., Zuken E3, Elcad, Eplan, Comos) is highly desirable. Basic programming skills (e.g., VB, VBA, C#) and strong proficiency in MS Office applications. General affinity for IT tools and digital workflows. Basic knowledge of product data management and engineering processes, ideally with SAP-PLM. Familiarity with Zuken E3 features such as cable planning, variants and options, and DS-E3 is a plus. Knowledge of terminal and connector systems from various manufacturers is advantageous. Fluent English skills are required; good German skills are a plus.
