Cad Technician
Job Title: CAD Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating detailed survey drawings and plans, assisting field crews, and maintaining high standards in CAD drafting for civil and survey projects. Responsibilities + Develop topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction survey drawings. + Create surfaces and base files for grading and drainage plans. + Draft plot plans, foundation location plans, and final site plans. + Assist field crews with data import and setup for stakeout jobs. + Interpret field notes, sketches, and title reports. + Maintain CAD standards and contribute to best practices. + Collaborate with project managers and surveyors to ensure accuracy and compliance. Essential Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. + 3+ years of experience in CAD drafting for civil and survey projects. + Great communication skills, drafting, design, and land development expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong understanding of land surveying principles and coordinate systems. + Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and legal descriptions. + Excellent organizational and communication skills. Work Environment Enjoy a hybrid schedule available after onboarding, with 3 days onsite and 2 remote each week. Join a collaborative team in a 15-person office, offering opportunities for advancement in surveying and engineering. Benefit from flexible work hours, with summer hours allowing Fridays off if the 40-hour workweek is completed by Thursday. The company provides 10 holidays, one float day, and the entire office is closed from Christmas to New Year's Day. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
