CAD Engineer

In this role, you will provide support for the production, in terms of generating, auditing and issuing drawings for sewing, in accordance with the client's specifications.

What will your responsibilities be?

Design & Technical Documentation:

Create, revise, and approve CAD drawings for tailoring materials in accordance with company standards.Ensure all technical documentation aligns with operational instructions and engineering principles.Maintain up-to-date records of design changes and revisions.

Process Planning & Coordination:

Develop detailed plans for all activities related to assigned design and engineering processes.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of design-related tasks.Support the introduction of new production processes by defining technical requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Lean Integration:

Apply Lean tools and methodologies to enhance design efficiency and reduce waste.Participate in VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) and MUCU (Machine Utilization/Capacity Utilization) activities to optimize product and process performance.Propose improvements to design workflows and procedures to boost productivity and quality.

Administrative & Reporting Duties:

Perform administrative tasks such as daily reporting and data entry into internal systems.Ensure compliance with all working procedures and internal policies related to the CAD function.

Customer Focus:

Understand and respond to customer expectations and CR/CSR (Customer Requirements/Customer-Specific Requirements) with urgency.Strive to exceed customer expectations through proactive design solutions and responsiveness

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

Technical degree2-3 years of experience in the same positionProficiency in CAD softwareUnderstanding of automotive manufacturing processes and materialExperience with VAVE and DFMEA/PFMEAAwareness of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principlesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsGood communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesCustomer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency
