Job Description We are searching for an experienced AutoCAD Civil 3D drafter/designer who seeks opportunities to advance their career through collaboration and company-sponsored training. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, team-focused, and humble. Work would include providing AutoCAD Civil 3D support for solid waste and environmental projects conducted for private and municipal clients. We are seeking a professional skilled in drafting for horizontal and vertical construction, adept at generating plan and profile views, cross-sections, as well as executing intricate grading and cut/fill balancing. Collaborating closely with our engineers, you will incorporate mark-ups, prepare figures, and develop permit and construction documentation. You will work with a team supporting you to independently complete tasks and projects. The position will preferably report to the San Diego Office. Perform preparation of sheet sets, designing, drafting, detailing, and graphics layout with limited supervision Prepare site plan layouts from existing maps, incorporate corrections to existing drawings, evaluate existing conditions surveys, etc. Prepare permit and construction level documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D Perform volume calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D Ability to create design surfaces, manage topographical survey surfaces, and integrate design surfaces into existing conditions Apply and follow appropriate AutoCAD standards and best practices We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
