Job Title: CAD Designer Location: Sandford, NC (Hybrid) Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.85/hr Type: Contract Responsibilities CAD Drafting & Design: + Create, revise, and maintain detailed AutoCAD drawings for capital projects across the site. + Ensure adherence to drawing standards and maintain documentation. + Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Project Management & Coordination + Lead and coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and drawing packages. + Serve as the primary point of contact for engineering documentation and drawing logistics. + Act as a liaison between engineering, operations, maintenance, and external vendors to ensure seamless communication and execution. + Participate in project meetings, report on drawing and project status. Requirements + Proficiency in AutoCAD + Proficient understanding drawings for electrical, mechanical, piping, architectural, and utility systems. + Strong background in project coordination or engineering support, with exposure to project management practices. + Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Familiarity with GMP, FDA, or other regulatory standards is a plus. Preferred Experience: + 3+ years of experience in CAD drafting, project coordination, and/or project management. + Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or industrial engineering environments. + Understanding of capital project workflows, documentation control, and project lifecycle management.
