Reporting to the Manager - Facilities, the CAD Designer (Co-Op) is responsible for reviewing and updating the electrical and/or mechanical designs of our manufacturing facility.

Work Term: Winter 2026 (Jan to Apr)
Work Arrangement: Onsite (5 Days per Week)
Work Location: 90 Belfield Rd., Etobicoke, ON

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Review and update plant layout documents/drawings using AutoCAD. Ensure that all drawings are in accordance with S&C's design standards. Ensure backup of all CAD designs. Perform data entry to set up and maintain parts storage in our facilities software system. Assist the Project Coordinator and ensure that capital budget projects are following project timelines. Participate in quality improvement initiatives for S&C's drawing process. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Registered in a diploma or degree engineering co-op program (mechanical, industrial or manufacturing). Eligible for a 4 month Co-op Term (Winter 2026). Completed coursework and experience using AutoCAD. Positive, flexible team-oriented approach, with the willingness and desire to work as part of a team as well as independently. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative. Strong oral and written communication skills. Detail-oriented, resourceful. Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
