Key Responsibilities:
•\tConvert 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings from legacy CAD systems (e.g., CATIA V5) to Siemens NX using best practices and validated workflows.
•\tValidate geometry, features, and metadata post-conversion to ensure accuracy and completeness.
•\tCollaborate with design engineers to resolve discrepancies and optimize models for downstream use in manufacturing and simulation.
•\tMaintain documentation of conversion processes, issues encountered, and resolutions.
•\tSupport the integration of converted models into PLM systems such as Teamcenter.
•\tParticipate in design reviews and provide technical input on CAD standards and interoperability.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
•\tProficiency in Siemens NX with 3–5 years of CAD modeling experience.
•\tStrong understanding of CAD data structures, feature-based modeling, and assembly management.
•\tExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•\tAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience:
•\tFamiliarity with CATIA V5 and CAD data migration workflows.
•\tBackground in maritime, shipbuilding, or heavy industrial design.
•\tExperience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter.
•\tKnowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
•\tExposure to scripting or automation tools for CAD (e.g., VB, Python).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $65.00/hr.
