Reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor, the Cable/Wire Inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, preparing/cutting cable/wire and managing the movement of materials within our facility.
What a typical day looks like:
Complete material inspection on receipt, complete receiving function and communicate all material issues effectively to appropriate departments when they ariseEnsure cable/wire received are staged in the correct area and labeled accordinglyIdentify any material issues to minimize any disruptions in getting stock transfer orders completeConduct physical inventory and cycle counts and verify quantities to maintain proper stock levels; document and adjust discrepancies within ERP systemAccurately pull, prepare and cut cable/wire for manufacturing jobs according to cable schedules and will calls Fulfill urgent materials request as they come upDistribute cable/wire to production teams by verifying cable/wire type and quantities; ensure materials distributed coordinate with the cable schedule and/or will calls Account for cable/wire distributed in the company ERP system Complete other related duties as assignedThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:
High School Diploma or equivalentAt least one year of experience in inventory shipping and receiving, or any related fieldExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented skillsSolid organizational and time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP systemAbility to operate powered equipment including forklifts and scissor liftsWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:
