Job Description Job Duties: + Under direct supervision, performs basic operations to test and repair downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment. + Receives cable and carries out basic tests. + Uses hipot machine to make basic repairs and learns how to splice cable. + Completes paperwork to send cable to inventory or field. + Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. + This is an entry level position where the employee is expected to learn all relevant company HSE policies and procedures and to demonstrate their application into his/her duties. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Previous experience preferred but willing to train. + Must have a current and valid driver's license and be able to provide a copy of drivers abstract. + The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required. + Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. + Basic computer skills are preferred.
