Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Cabana Server to join our team at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

What will you do?Prepare assigned cabanas for service and ensure all items are in place and ready for guest arrivalGreet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and answer menu questions, and collect food and beverage ordersVerify all pre-ordered selections are prepared, delivered, and served accurately and on timeServe alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and proceduresAccurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the checks to guestsCollaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen, and bar staffPerform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned, and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioningPerform other duties as assigned

More about youExperience in cash handling and credit card processingMinimum of one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment, and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environmentNo high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirementsMust be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as stand, walk, and bend for long periods, which may include walking up stairsWill be required to work outdoors and in variable temperatures and weather, depending on the season, including heat, rain, and coldVisual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
