**Responsibilities:** + Make changes to the existing Data Model (Logical & Physical), Implement Changes, build deployment packages and promote them to higher environments (UAT, Production and Cob) following SDLC + Excellent understanding on Database concepts including Procedures, Triggers, Packages, Database Constraints, Indexes using Oracle 19c + Should be able to help in finding current issues and provide solutions to improve performance + Working knowledge of Linux Redhat, File System, Cluster Management and Oracle ASMC and ACFS + System analysis and design skill with knowledge of data flow diagrams, data dictionary techniques, case tools, Entity relation Modeling, design Technique etc + Database Design Skill including normalization theory, STAR Schema Design and Data Modeling tool with proven experience of Process, Data flow and forward/reverse engineering of logical/physical RDBMS layout + Ensure weekend activities complete successfully through assignment, coordination, oversight and validation. This may require weekend work. + Experience with Oracle Golden Gate 19c implementation and support will be an added advantage + Along with above technical requirements candidate will get opportunities to work with existing team on **Applications Support:** + Respond to customer requests regarding outages, performance degradation and project status. + Maintain flexible work schedules, which may include evenings, weekends or holidays to work on deployments or regularly scheduled maintenance. + Resolve customer technical issues through diligent research, reproduction and troubleshooting. + Document all technical inquiries, develop and review content for knowledgebase using tool set. + Work directly with other team members to resolve problems in a timely manner. + Develop work schedules and project plans in support of various App Dev requests. + Maintain server, software, licenses and other inventories. + Ensure weekend activities complete successfully through assignment, coordination, oversight and validation and Checkout. This may require weekend work. **Desired skills** + 10+ years of working experience. + Experience with private or public cloud database solutions. + Experienced as Solutions Architect to meet business needs. + Concepts and architectural expertise with commercial RDBMS systems. + Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL + Experience with database high availability solutions and architecture. + ISG being Oracle heavy shop – + Expert on Oracle concepts and architecture. + Expert on Oracle RAC systems. + Experience with Oracle Data Guard and database backups + Expert on data compression and table partitioning techniques + Expert on database performance tuning + Expert on database monitoring, alerting and resolution automation. + Expert on database release management, coordination, and automated execution. + Database upgrades, migrations, and PSU maintenance. + Expert on SQL and shell scripting. + Experienced with database automation tasks to reduce MPT. + Tablespace resizing, automated DR failover/switchover. + Risk & Control – + Audit and compliance monitoring and resolution. + Familiar with regulatory mandates – OCC, App-J compliance. + Experience with Service Now, Autosys, AppDynamics and CyberArk. + Experience with data replication technologies, Oracle Golden Gate + Design solution and implementation + Familiar with Hub and Spoke Architecture. + Experience with Uni-directional or Bi-directional replications.(One to many and many to one replication). + Experience with data discrepancies, troubleshooting and remediation. + Automation of replication monitoring and alerting techniques. + Experience with Database Encryption – Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB + Design solution and implementation. + Database Key Generation & external key stores (HSM – Hardware Security Module). + Encrypted key corruptions and restoration techniques. + Disaster recovery of HSM appliance (external key stores). + Knowledge of HSM upgrades and maintenance. + Knowledge or experience with database storage devices (SAN, Scale IO) + Knowledge or experience with database networking + Soft skill sets – + Leadership, Ownership and Accountability + Excellent Communication + Very good analytical skills + Multi-tasking + Project Management + Team player & cross functional team interactions + Experience with financial firms. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
