C&P_LV Senior Engineer
Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

Designing low voltage secondary systems for power distribution projects, including transformers, switchgear, distribution panels, and protective relays.Developing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for low voltage secondary systems.Performing system calculations to optimize system performance and efficiency.Participating in site surveys, inspections, and commissioning activities to verify system integrity and compliance with specifications.Staying updated on industry standards, codes, regulations, and emerging technologies related to low voltage secondary systems.Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and knowledge sharing within the organization.Experience of AC Electrical Substation Equipment’s on low voltage side (C&P and auxiliary power)Can prepare/validate Main Single line diagrams, Protection Single line diagrams & Auxiliary Single line diagrams.Knowledge on Electrical power system protection conceptsExperience in producing Auxiliary power consumer listUnderstanding of LV AC/DC Power & Control cable sizing and distributionExperience in preparing & Understanding ITP for all Electrical packages. Electrical packages involved - MV & LV Systems, Transformers, Electrical control & protection Cubicle/Panels, Marshalling Box, Junction Box, Battery & Charger Systems, DG, UPSControl & protection SchemesCable Schedule & Interconnection Schedule & Layout engineering.Worked in Team and interfaces with various internal and external partners

Work Experience

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.Proven experience (5-10 years) in designing, developing, and implementing low voltage secondary systems for power distribution applications.Proficiency in Engineering Base software for creating engineering drawings and schematics.Good Knowledge in Caneco BT software for Cable engineering Strong understanding of electrical principles, power distribution fundamentals, and low voltage equipment.Experience with protective relay coordination, arc flash analysis, and fault current calculations.Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes such as IEC, NEC, IEEE, and NEMA.Project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
