C-17 Support Engineering Data Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior)

The Boeing Global Services organization is seeking an Support Engineering Data Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) for an exciting opportunity with the C-17 Fleet Reliability & Analysis Team in Warner Robins, Georgia.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Mid-Level or Senior Support Engineering Data Specialist.

Position Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will conduct Repair Level analysis (RLA) / Conduct Lifecycle Support Cost Analysis (LSCA) in support of our C-17 internal and external Air Force customers.  Typical tasks include but not limited to the following:

Review/evaluate each Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SMR) Code Change Request, to determine if the item listed in the change request is to be considered as an RLA / LSCA candidatePerform RLA / LSCA on all candidate items in support of the SMR Code Change Request to determine the best maintenance support scenarios for the item(s) under analysisCollect, review and maintain applicable data to support an RLA / LSCA, interface with functional areas, and compile status report for each candidatePerform development, analysis, collection, storing, and reviewing of system support technical data elements and specification and makes recommendationsGenerate load sheets and input data into the Air Force furnished Network Repair Level Analysis (NRLA) modelDevelop RLA / LSCA output report, perform sensitivity analysis, and analyze resultsSubmit RLA / LSCA report to the Support Specialist and review resultsProvide support to the SMR Code Review Board meetings with the Boeing IPTs and the Air ForceReview RLA Supplier Data Request Lists (SDRL) and provide comments/feedback

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Technical Bachelor's Degree or higher5+ years of experience in level of repair analysis5+ years of experience with aircraft maintenanceExperience with Network Repair Level AnalysisExperience working with MS Access, SQL, Python, R, Data modeling, or Tableau.Experience with Failure Mode Effects and Criticality analysis (FMECA) and root cause analysisProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

9+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)Experience developing and implementing macros using VBA to automate tasksExperience with Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)Experience with C-17Experience with FMXC2/G081Experience with various cost estimation methodologies, including parametric, analogy, and bottom-up estimating

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $79,900 - 108,100

Summary Pay Range for Senior (Level 4): $98,600 - 133,400
