Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an opening for a C-17Supply Chain Planning Sr. Manager (Level M) leadership position. This position will lead supply chain asset management and forecasting teams at Warner Robins, GA and Long Beach, CA in support of Boeing’s C-17 PBL. They will be responsible for multiple planning elements on the single largest program within the Government Services division of BGS. This leader will partner with stakeholders across the C-17 sustainment value stream and will serve on the leadership teams of the BGS Supply Chain Planning function and the C-17 Supply Chain Management team and will be located in Long Beach, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing supply chain and inventory management strategies.
Work with program management, supplier management, supply chain execution and depot support teams to deliver material outcomes for BGS customers.
Participates in negotiation and implementation of product support offerings.
Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-line managers.
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Supports Senior Executive engagements with customer & industry with appropriate messaging that is aligned with Boeing strategic objectives
Creates a culture of continuous improvement by communicating/deploying enterprise best practices and employee engagement to improve cost, quality, delivery, employee job satisfaction and customer satisfaction.
Applies expertise in budget management principles and practices to ensure realistic budgets are set and attained for multiple projects across the organization. Monitors organizational financial metrics to support budgetary planning and to determine appropriate corrective action. Determines financial objectives for organization or functional area.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Strong collaboration skills and mindset to grow the current environment of best practice sharing and alignment across functional teams.
Past experience and success in leading affordability, productivity, and/or cost/inventory reduction activities.
Budget management and supply chain management experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in multiple supply chain functional roles (i.e. planning, sourcing, execution, etc…)
Experience with government product support programs (specifically with PBL-like contracts)
Ability to leverage both government and commercial supply chain best practices in development of outcome based customer offerings.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: 164,050 – 221,950
