**The C-12/ King Air and/or UC-35 Cessna Citation ArmyTransport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P).** Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on **C-12/ King Air 200/350/1900** and/or **UC-35 Cessna Citation** aircraft. + Valid **(FAA) A&P** Certificate is Required. + **US Citizenship is Required** to obtain the required US Govt Secret Security Clearance, and to obtain facility and base access. + Is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying aircraft systems to ensure continued airworthiness. + These tasks are performed on avionics & electrical systems, engines, flight controls and airframe components. + Repairs are performed using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills. + Comply with aircraft records procedures outlined in DA PAM 738-751. + Ensure aircraft discrepancies are properly recorded in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and within the terms of the contract. + Know and understand the functions and requirements of computerized maintenance software. + Perform aircraft recovery missions as necessary. + Perform engine run or taxi operations. Meet requirement to obtain certification within 12 months of employment. + Reads and interprets manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. + Perform other qualified duties as assigned. **Minimum Requirements** + High School diploma or equivalent is required. + Valid **FAA A&P** Certificate is Required. + Union CBA Site, provides 3 levels of A&P experience, based on specific years of experience on the assigned (MDS) Mission Design Series aircraft, **C-12/King Air** 200/350/1900 and/or **UC-35 Cessna** **Citation** . + **AM-1** Requires - Two (2) Years A&P experience is required, with two (2) or more years of specific King Air, C-12 being preferred. + **AM-2** Requires - Five (5) years of **C-12/ King Air** and/or **UC-35 Cessna Citation** hands-on A&P aircraft mechanic experience is required. + **AM-3 Requires -** Ten (10) years of A&P mechanic experience, and Thirteen (13) years of **C-12/** **King Air** 200/350/1900 and/or **UC** **-35 Cessna Citation** specific aircraft experience required. + Valid Driver's License is required. + May be required to work and/or rotate for a multiple shift operation. Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned under the Union CBA, 24-hour site operation. Work Schedule consists of Four (4) 10-hour days, 40 hours a week. + Mechanic Tools are Not Required: Mechanics may bring their own tools and toolbox, tools must be etched with Mechanic's PID, Toolbox shadowed. Smart Box Toolbox provided on-site. **A&P Mechanic Medical Requirement:** + **Medical/Physical.** All personnel performing engine runs, ground taxi, ordnance loading, or operating self-propelled support equipment within Ten (10) feet of the aircraft silhouette must pass a physical examination from a qualified medical professional prior to conducting these operations, and subsequently on a specified periodic basis, not to exceed Five (5) years. **Security Clearance Requirements:** + Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials and authorization. **US Citizenship is Required** to hold a US Govt Secret Clearance, and facility credentials and authorization to work at this facility. **Physical and Additional Qualifications** + Ability to move freely about the interior and in the unpressurized area aft of the aft pressure bulkhead and meet aircraft specific specs for weight limit. + Stand, squat, sit, walk, work with arms overhead for extended periods of time. + Pull, push, lift up to 50 lbs. + Comply with the FAA regulations as applicable. + Know, understand and comply with the requirements outlined in the contract performance work statement (PWS). + May be required to work and/or rotate for a multiple shift operation. + Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. + Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining professional and non-confrontational attitude.
